Andrew Digrius – AMT P800 Trumpet Microphone

Andrew Digrius was born in Bridgewater, NJ. With easy access to the city, Andrew went in to see Vanguard Monday night band every other week during his early school years. Inspired by the artistry of people like Scott Wendholt, Terell Stafford and Rich Perry, Andrew decided to follow a career in improvised music. Andrew is perusing Jazz studies at Montclair State university. While at MSU, Andrew has played with world class artists such as Ingrid Jensen, Alan Ferber, Mario Adnet, Don Braden, Roggerio Boccato, and Dave Stryker. He now studies under Tony Kadleck and Scott Wendholt. Recently, Andrew played the NJPAC Miles Davis/Gil Evans tribute concert which featured Sean Jones and Terell Stafford (Howard Johnson of the original recording, Christian McBride). Andrew’s current, and main, project is the multi-genre progressive rock band Thank You Scientist. They recently performed at NAMM with Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Guthrie Govan and Marco Minemum. He just released his debut album with TYS, “Maps of Non-existent Places”, which has received international acclaim. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, of Guns & Roses, said “Thank You Scientist is my favorite new band!”
