I started with 10 years to play the clarinet, after I felt in love with this
beautiful instrument and her warm sound. In school, I played in the
orchestra, projects, theatermusic and other recitals.

I studied clarinet at the Zurich University of Arts, Department of Music
(Jazzschool Zurich) and earned my „Master in Music Education“.

Simon Wyrsch is from Zürich, 23 years old, but he can do nearly
everything. He has a virtuoso mastering of his instrument, has a wide
range of sounds, from airy, soft in the chalumeauregister until the sharp
crys in the altissimo. He knows the tricks from the klezmerim as well as
those of the new classical clarinet-players, but above all:.
