The A95 is an ultra-miniature, low profile condenser microphone specifically designed for drums and percussion. HAND MADE in New Jersey and still the smallest self contained drum microphone on the market. The A95 features shock mounting which provides harmonic dampening to reduce errant noise. The A95-4C is a four microphone set. The unique design allows it to be clipped directly onto the rim. Its 
rugged construction of anodized aviation aluminum allows it to withstand high impact, including direct hits with sticks, while being lightweight and non-corrosive. The A95's are designed to be as compact as unobtrusive as possible while offering the most “transparent” reproduction of sound possible. (“Transparent,” simply means that the sound is reproduced exactly as it is, with no additional high- or low-end emphasis or other sound coloration added by the microphone itself.) They attach to virtually any drum rim by means of a spring clip that’s fast and easy to use but still secure under normal playing. This compact size also makes mic placement easy, even on complicated setups where mic’ stands, booms, and even clamp- on attachments are difficult to use. The system comes complete with 4 microphones with special low mass clamp, 4 inline preamps with XLR connections, and a hard shell blo-mold protective case.
