The AMT WS Double Microphone for Clarinet

The WS clarinet microphone is unique in design and function. The microphone mounts to the clarinet and features 2 cardioid microphone elements, each attached to flexible goosenecks. The elements are designed to be positioned at the bell and keys of the clarinet. AMT's dual micing technique results in a natural, authentic reproduction of the instruments sonic characteristics from over the keys as well as the sound produced from the bell. The elements feature cardioid polar patterns, which suppress residual noise and audio signal at the off-axis sections of the capsule. The microphone connects to a separate beltpack that provides the output stage and power.

The AMT WS double clarinet microphone is the perfect choice for the player that needs control of there volume in a belt pack style setup. Excellent choice for soft to loud music. Principal artist or soloist.

All versions of the WS include updated features including AMT’s new D.C.T. (Disconnect Cable Technology) and the ability to connect to the Wi5C Wireless system. Both microphone's are suspended in a 4 point isolation ring reducing key and handling noise. Phantom power or 9Volt battery required.

The WS comes in four versions. (WS , WS Studio, WSW - Shure, WSW - Sennheiser) All of the microphones are identical. The decision between the versions comes when you choose between wireless, hardwired, and / or require both.

The WS setup Comes with BP45 beltpack style preamp, case, and AMT disconnecting cable technology which allows the microphone to be used as "Wireless, with beltpack, or Studio" models if needed.
