The Applied Microphone Technology (AMT) S15G is a professional acoustic guitar microphone designed for capturing in crucial recording and / or live sound reinforcement applications. The microphone's design accommodates any acoustic guitar body, clamps to the outside of the guitar, and is suspended in a 4 point isolation ring reducing handling noise.. It is adjustable from a minimum of 3" to a maximum of 5-7/8". The microphone capsule itself features a highly sensitive condenser element with a cardioid polar pattern and wide frequency response. The capsule is optimized for accurate and transparent reproduction of acoustic guitar.

The S15G features a secure clamp-on mounting mechanism that provides a secure fit without damaging the instrument's finish. A flexible gooseneck enables easy microphone positioning for optimum results. The microphone features a detachable cable, which connects to the AMT S15G's BP45 Beltpack (included). The beltpack features a standard XLR output. The S15G is a low-profile condenser microphone that has a cardioid pattern which gives it better gain before feedback than most guitar microphones on the market. The element as well as the mounting clamp is designed for the instrument. AMT designs microphones for each instrument and does NOT adapt elements or mounting gear to fit instruments.

The AMT S15G features a flexiable 6" gooseneck, allowing the player to position the microphone for the best possible tone reproduction. It's rugged construction of anodized aviation aluminum makes it highly durable, while being lightweight and non-corrosive.

The S15G terminates to the BP45 belt pack. It operates on either 9 volt battery or Phantom power to 48 volts DC*.

The S15G is terminated by a mini XLR connector which connects to the BP45. The included metal housed beltpack powers the microphone correctly and contours the setup for the intended instrument.

The S15G comes in two versions. (S15G , S15G Studio) The microphones are identical. The decision between the versions comes when you choose between wireless, hardwired, and / or require both.

The S15G setup Comes with BP45 beltpack style preamp, case, and AMT disconnecting cable technology which allows the microphone to be used as "Wireless, with beltpack, or Studio" models if needed.

*Additional cables for a variety of setups sold separately.

**For Studio or sound engineering applications, see the S15G Studio.
