The AMT TA2 Double Microphone System for soprano saxophone.   The Ta2 is the perfect choice for a player that primarily performs on soprano saxophone and is looking for the perfect balance of sound that is generated from over the top and in front of the bell. Ideal microphone setup for the principal artist or soloist. Both, the microphone over the keys and in front of the bell, are suspended in a 4 point isolation ring reducing key and handling noise. The microphone is available in two hardwired configurations, (TA2 and TA2 Studio) and also without a preamp for wireless use.

All available versions can be used wirelessly with the AMT Wi5C wireless system.   The TA2 version is the perfect choice for the player that requires a belt pack style setup. The microphone is an excellent choice for soft to moderately loud music. Designed, manufactured by hand, and distributed by Applied Microphone Technology in the USA.

All versions of the TA2 now include a variety of updated features including AMT’s new D.C.T. (Disconnect Cable Technology) and the ability to connect to the Wi5C Wireless system.

Phantom power or AA battery required.

The TA2 comes in four versions. (TA2 , TA2 Studio, TA2W - Shure, TA2W - Sennheiser) All of the microphones are identical. The decision between the versions comes when you choose between wireless, hardwired, and / or require both.

Comes with BP45 beltpack style preamp, case, and AMT disconnecting cable technology which allows the microphone to be used as "Wireless, with beltpack, or Studio" models if needed.

*Additional cables for a variety of setups sold separately.
