Stereo version must be used with a Y cable. (NOT provided) A Y cabel is a special cable with a Stereo 1/4 inch on one end and two mono 1/4 inch on the other. The player can pick a Y cable up usually at an accordion repair / install shop. Most AMT Accordion dealers should be able to offer this cable.
Wireless Ability:
The ability to use the ACC3 Stereo wireless is possible but maybe difficult. You will first need a short Y cable that it not supplied. Then you will need TWO wireless transmitters that accept 1/4 inch cables. You'll have three belt packs on at this point.
For an easier Wireless solution, we highly recomend using the ACC3 Mono version.
Other:
A typcial setup is for an ACC3 mono or stereo with a 120 bass accordion is to place two microphones in the grill and one microphone in the compartment which houses the bass machine. A wire / signal is wired from the left hand and into the right hand or grill side. In some situation, accordion players have no need to provide amplification for the left hand. If this is the case, during the install, you can choose to not wire the left hand with microphones. Instead you could either place the third microphone into the grill of the accordion to accompany the Right hand microphones or just choose to not install the single left hand microphone at all.
If the player has two accordions, it is possible to fit two seperate accordions with wiring and microphones and use the same belt pack. A common choice is for the player to have a mono and a stereo system, wiring two seperate accordions the exact same way. At this point, the player then has there choice of using the mono or stereo belt pack.
