The AMT Wi5C (Clip) is a clip-on / removable 16 selectable channel wireless system.  The Wi5C is intended to clip-on to AMT Microphones.  The Wi5C clip-on system currently works in conjunction with all AMT microphones that have DCT (disconnecting cable technology). Applied Microphone Technology's DCT allows the user to use the same AMT microphone in a variety of settings including wireless, hardwired, live, and in the studio.

The Wi5C wireless system has changed the way an instrumentalist can perform.  By allowing total freedom from wires, a belt pack, and / or a preamp the performers are able to move freely around the performance area.  This concept frees up the artist from standing in front of a microphone stand and assures that every nuance of the performance is heard.

The Wi5C will interface with all AMT microphones except the system 1. The ability to remove the transmitter makes AMT disconnecting microphones even more versatile. Use an AMT microphone with the Wi5C wireless system, or with the change of a cable, convert your microphone to any of the AMT Preamps for live or studio recordings.

The Wi5C comes with the mini transmitter ready to clip on the disconnect shaft on an AMT microphone, locking cable and connector to connect to microphones, and the ZR series receiver with XLR and 1/4 outputs.  The ZR1 receiver includes removable antennas.  Microphone and rack ears to mount 1 receiver in a single space rack sold separately.  Wi5C works with these AMT models: LS, WS, TA2, Z1, P800, M40, S15G, VS, S25B, and the S18C.  Microphone sold separately.

Electric guitars please see the Wi5G.
