How to enhance the reception range by using antenna booster?

If you would like to use any of the Wi5 wireless systems in larger mass areas, such as in stadium or in auditorium, the antenna booster is highly recommended. By installing the antenna booster in a high position and / or in a place that you will not receive interference from metal objects or concrete walls, the reception range can be extended. How to set the wireless microphone in non-interference frequency?

It’s always difficult for the customer to set up the multiple wireless microphone system without interference. The more frequencies used, more interference occurred. Firstly, do not put the receiver near any metal objects and avoid obstructions between transmitter and receiver for better reception ability. The Wi5 Series wireless microphone system with auto-scan function can automatically searching the non-interference frequencies, or with pre-set program can allowed the 8 microphone using simultaneously in each frequency range group.

 

Could two transmitters be used in the same frequency?

No, two transmitters can not be use in the same frequency due to it will cause the interference. Each transmitter and receiver is assigned a individual frequency for operation.

 

What is Squelch (SQ)?

Squelch is a circuit function that acts to suppress the audio output of a receiver in the absence of a sufficiently strong desired input signal. It can be used to solve interference problems. The squelch controller of the receiver is adjusted to the proper position when manufactured. The higher squelch control, the lower the sensitivity of the receiver and decrease the service area of the system.
